Lorca
Through a dreamlike world of wooden furniture, doors, lamps and scaffolding, we approach Federico García Lorca (1898-1936) by visiting autobiographical passages, metatheatrical scenes inspired by his plays, and poetic hypotheses scattered with Lorquian symbols.
With the Company’s characteristic experimental signature, the production reflects on memory, artistic legacy and the consequences of barbarity, combining collective dramaturgy with physical research.
Besides Federico, the piece is visited by his family, his lovers, his friends and his enemies, in search of a many-sided, intimate and honest portrait of one of the most brilliant figures of twentieth-century Spain.
