Trovador

Inspired by the vast musical universe of Silvio, author of more than six hundred songs, “Trovador” offers a journey in the form of a metaphorical flight, where the cabin crew guides us through passages of the artist’s life in constant dialogue with his songs.

Against the backdrop of sixty-five years of the Cuban Revolution — running parallel to Silvio’s career and leading to the country’s complex present — “Trovador” reflects on the essential role of music in society, on the endless channel of creation, and on the power of a song to unite everyone, for an instant, in a single feeling.

“Trovador” closes the trilogy opened by “Allende” and continued by “Lorca”. It is also a tribute to the Old and New Cuban Trova.
